Weekend Plans?

Anyone up to much? DH & I are having a steak dinner (sirloins, chips, breaded garlic mushrooms & petitpois). Must put my AF Freixenet cava in the fridge. I didn’t have flowers this year as I won a bouquet in a raffle & already have some that DBro bought me plus Fairtrade roses I bought myself a while ago. DH gave me a card & white Lindt truffles. I got him 12 bottles of Peroni zero. I bought DD16 a bag of lovehearts but unfortunately she doesn’t like them. Working tomorrow but might pop to the Farmers Market in the morning as we need some honey. Also have to make a Thai green chicken curry in the slow cooker. Nice easy recipe. No plans for Sunday. Might get Asda pizzas for tea.

Dh will cook tonight, I’ve just logged off for work for the weekend and am about to go for a walk to make the most of the little bit of sunshine before it gets dark.
When I get back someone will have lit the fire, I’ll have a bath and then lie down for the evening, getting up only to eat 😂
Tomorrow I’m seeing Mil in the morning and then taking my niece and her little dds out for the afternoon which I’m looking forward to. Dd2 will come with us.
Supposed to be at a party on Saturday night but I’ll be driving and picking up some friends.
Dh and ds will be at football morning and afternoon so that’s them out of the way!
Sunday morning I’ll go for a swim and then we’ll see what everyone fancies doing, perhaps a beach trip (it’s about 45 minutes away, sadly not on our doorstep) and a Sunday dinner when we get home.

Anybody else up to anything? Thought this would be a popular thread

Dh is cooking steaks chips, asparagus with cheese cake for dessert. We are doing cards but planning a meal out Sunday instead as restaurants are crowded/overpriced/rubbish set menu on valentines.

Doing absolutely fuck all tonight after ten days on the bounce at work, I'm knackered. I will be having a bath and a prosecco and ignoring everyone and everything.

Tomorrow husband and I are making dim sum and playing games together as our belated valentine's adjacent celebration thing. Nothing else planned so will probably just half arse some laundry and finish my current cross stitch project.

Sunday I'll probably go for a lazy dog walk with my mam, maybe go for a climb if my legs feel up to it after the work week I've had. Might do a Sunday roast, might get a takeaway, see how energetic I feel.

Overall a bit of a lazy, can't be arsed sort of weekend!

It's the first weekend of half term so DD is shattered. Quiet day tomorrow - she has a swimming lesson in the morning, then we might go out for brunch or go to the farmers market and pick up things for lunch. Then a chill-out afternoon - board games, maybe baking, a movie maybe. Get out with DD and her bike if the weather is nice. Just see what we fancy really.

Then similarly chilled Sunday morning followed by climbing for DD early-afternoon with a friend. Then the in-laws are arriving late afternoon to spend a few days with us. So family dinner (once I decide what to make....), and an evening chatting over a glass of wine.

I'd had ambitions to cook something nice tonight but both DD and I have been ill, so chicken kievs it is!

Dh and I went out last night because Dh can't tonight. Very unusual we do anything valentine's related at all.

Tomorrow going to see my elderly parents to help out with some chores.

Nothing planned for Sunday.

We've all also been flawed by horrible cold and continuing cough so have little energy and verve.

Called into the local butchers earlier and got several sirloins, Tabacco onions and going to make sweet potatoes fries , pepper sauce and salad. I have champagne in the fridge that was given to me at Xmas. Dh and I just did a card each and a bar of our fav fancy chocolate. I hit given flowers the other day from a colleague so he knew not to buy more.

Weekend is being spent ferrying dc to training then a competition.

I'm full of a horrible bug and DH has been working all day. He got me a card but that seems to be it. I guess the red roses that appeared in the kitchen in my vase are our DD's from her boyfriend since DH asked me where they came from.

DH is exhausted after work so he's gone for a lie down so no idea if he even has any plans for dinner. We normally do so much more than this but because I'm ill we had to cancel all our plans and I'm just a little sad about it and at least hoped DH would have planned flowers and a takeaway since we can't go out.
