Is this anxiety?

I am extremely lucky that I rarely struggle with anxiety in day to day life. By that I mean my life is stressful (two teenagers, stressful job) and I often feel very stressed but I can cope and find ways to deal with it. The past few days I physically feel very weird - my limbs feel tingley like filled with adrenaline, I am extremely jittery and feel nervous / butterflies constantly even though I can’t work out what would cause this. I’m sleeping well, have thought through everything coming up but nothing jumps out as being particularly stressful. I feel a bit like I’m going crazy in my head and a bit dizzy thinking about it.
is this physical anxiety, and what could’ve brought it on? It feels like I’ve overdosed on caffeine but I haven’t changed anything.
i can’t focus on anything at work and want to cancel all my plans as I just want to curl up in bed and hide.

You have teenagers, what age are you? I had anxiety like this around the perimenopause (mid 40s for me) which was like this. Could be hormonal.

Sounds like anxiety. If it's new and unexplained and you are in your 40s it could ge perimenopause. HRT was a Lifesaver
