Homer Simpson’s Theory?

Random question but when Homer goes and rescues the kids from school because they are snowed in he is in the car with Ned eating pizza. And he says to Ned if you roll the pizza slice first and swallow it and let it unroll in your stomach it is heaven. Personally I can’t do this because of a food phobia but is there any truth behind Homer’s logic?

It's not going to unroll in your stomach. That's not how digestion works.

Due to it being a cartoon, anything is possible. However, you can't swallow food whole as you would choke. You need to chew food so it can go down your throat.

Therefore it's physically impossible to swallow slices of rolled up pizza.

I actually like to roll up the entire pizza and swallow it whole. My stomach then cuts it into slices for me.

Even if it did physically work like that - surely you're filling your stomach without enjoying the taste? Can't see the benefit!
