Random question but today's events have brought this back up for me. I was recently a patient involved in a Datix report whilst in hospital .
What happens next? By the way - it was a breech of confidentiality but not by a staff member- a relative of a patient went to the press/external bodies about my care without my consent or knowledge. The staff really had nothing to do with it other than we were having a discussion which was overheard.
