Overnight childcare

Seemingly struggling to locate overnight childcare in Devon and Somerset where you can drop your child off to the carer. Any recommendations?
Or recommendations for hotels that offer a babysitting service in Devon or Somerset?

I don’t understand. You want to find someone (you’ve never met before) who will take your kid(s) overnight? That’s highly unusual to do.

Does it exist?

A nanny yes I presume does it

Your local authority will have a list of all registered childminders.

The only hotel I know of that offers childcare (I'm assuming just the child?) is in Chelsea, although this was 20 of so years ago so things may have changed.

Usually for overnight childcare, children are cared for in their own home. There are agencies who match families to babysitters.

I'll be honest - such a service is going to be tricky to track down in more rural areas of Devon and Somerset. Is it a one off or regular care service you're looking for ?

Got some hits on Google using "overnight child care centers" in search bar

Idea is you do interviews, check credentials (DBS and Ofsted etc) and get to know them etc before hand.

It's very difficult when you've no family or friends within a 3 hour radius to get a night off once in a while.

I know a babysitter who does this (in London, so no use to you). But she doesn't advertise it, just mentions it to families she knows well.

We know her because she was staff at DD's nursery, so it's all very word-of-mouth.
