Doors!

I've had a new cupboard built today and the existing door handle now hits the door when open. It's in the bathroom, which has a tiled floor. Is there anything I can buy to restrict the handle hitting the new door?

I've put a heavy doorstop between the two doors for now, but my 2 year old will no doubt move it!

Thank you

Sounds a bit ott but could you get one of those metal door top bits (restrictor? Stay?) for the top of the door and fit it so the opening with is restricted so it can't hit the cupboard?

That or a plastic addition to the handle to stop it bumping would be my pick!

Not sure, but I'd be wrapping bubble wrap around the handle until you think of something!!!!

Have a look at door stops on Amazon, there is a nifty one that can be glued to the floor in the corner or even a magnetic one (don't know how to do links)

I assume a floor fitted door stop will restrict you from opening the cupboard? Unless you can set it far enough away, as in as close to your door frame as possible

I hadn't actually considered blocking the new door with a floor doorstop, so thanks for the comment!
