Holidays/ Manky feet

Just had a long weekend in my villa in the Canaries.
It's a very quiet communal pool.Its a lovely complex with owner owned villas but people rent them out to holiday makers.
Yet again.. l see so many people with manky feet ( mainly men but a few women).
Do you have a pedicure or do one yourself before getting your feet out?
Do you ask your other half to get one or help him?
These women have had their finger nails done all gorgeous...yet their feet/ toes are horrible.
In some cases black hard skin.
Fungal nails.
Some with nail Polish on that's half off.
But the men's feet are 🤢🤢🤢.
Not saying all but ugh!.
Even people walking round the resort and sea front in sandals and flip flops.
I get mine done every month whether I'm going on hol or not.

I hate feet in general and wish no one would have theirs out! That said, you can't dictate what other people do. Maybe you care about how your feet look but maybe they don't!

Not everyone is fussed about things like pedicures. It's not a mandatory requirement.

Feet are a bit grim. But that said, if you are going to get them out, at least tidy them up! Mine are awful at the minute from too much time in wellies that rub and being trodden on by the horses and sheep so much this winter 🙈 clean and trimmed, I hasten to add, just bruised and blistered!

I know what you mean, and so i always wear those swimming flipper things on my feet when in any communal areas in the Caribbean.

It can be a bit awkward at times, and I have tripped myself up on more than one occasion! But better that, sprawled across someones's poolside table, than a grisly toenail on show to all the world. 🦶 🤢
