Vitamin recommendation

Early 40s, and want to try and improve my health, there’s so much out there about vitamins not sure where to start! Anyone got any recommendations on what to take and what works?!

This company is very reasonably priced. Was recommended on here a while back. https://sealions.com

Two of my dc have been under dietian/gastroenterology care (one adul, one paediatric care). Who ever we see they seem to recommend similar. So not 100% sure if its nhs guidelines that they repeat.
Gummies are not recommended as they don't absorb so well.
Vitamin d should be taken by everyone in uk. You're best to get your vitamins from food but if not use A-z vitamins not a multivitamin.
Dd has to take calcium because she has a restricted diet so it's a good idea to check what your not getting enough of and add those in.

Have blood tests and see if you have any deficiencies. Then address those with proper doses of high quality supplements. There is actually evidence that taking loads of vitamins in the absence of deficiencies can lead to long term poorer health outcomes, not better. If you do want to change something up, I’d look at diet and add in lots of extra fruit and veg, so you get the nutrients but also the fibre and some prebiotics (all really good for gut health).
