I have always suffered with insomnia especially after 2 of my 4 kids didn’t sleep well. I’m in a v hot climate and we do use AC but I love sleeping with a duvet or heavy blanket abs hate sheets ! I think it’s the weight . Any recommendations for other how to battle insomnia in general or in heat!

Short term... fans on you as well as the a/c and a heavy blanket used across a part of your body. As long as it's over my midriff I can sleep. If it's too hot you can wet a sarong, wring it out and put it over you with a fan. Freezing cold very quickly! Luke warm shower (just under body temp) before bed. It fools your body, cools but doesn't kick in the warming.

Long term... you can get bed coolers. Like fans that blast air under you.

A thin weighted blanket.
