Reformer pilates

Me and my friend are thinking of trying g it. There's a deal on a 3 month membership that we are interested in and this is for 2 classes a week.
My question is what benefits have you find from doing it? Did your body shape change and improve , how long before you noticed any changes and finally do you love it!

Placemarking. I'm thinking about this.

My New Year’s resolution was to start doing regular reformer Pilates classes. I need to tone up but for various reasons can’t/don’t want to lift weights so it seemed like a good choice. I dipped my toe in last year with a few private sessions - would definitely recommend this before going to a group class so that you can get accustomed to the reformer bed etc. It’s a challenging full body workout but at the same time fun + rewarding. The day after a class I usually have soreness in muscles I didn’t even know existed! 🤣

I have done it since 2013, currently twice a week but at one stage I was doing 5 classes a week. I absolutely love it and it’s good exercise - I definitely feel it - but I can’t honestly say it changed my body shape, more kept me toned.

I've been doing weekly sessions for a couple of years now.

Definitely feel it a few days after doing it, but wouldn't say it's made any difference to shape or tone. I think it helps to keep me flexible, and if nothing else, it gives me a bloody good stretch once a week, which feels lovely.

Another one thinking of this.

Never done pilates before but want to do some strength training. Lying down whilst training seems attractive 😁

I have only been doing it for a month but this is definitely one big advantage!

Its beenComplicated, I signed up but the timings aren't working for me. My colleague has taken over my payments and sessions and I've gone to one that is in the opposite direction from the original one but has better times for me, plus it's only a few minutes drive. ( it's more or less the same price so all good. )
I've got my next class tomorrow.
I liked the first two but then was worried that all the sessions were going to be the same but different instructors do different things. Who knew you could do so many different things on a machine.

Definitely recommend it.
