Please give me suggestions of actually chocolatey chocolate cereal, bonus points if they make cracking chocolate milk!

I'm very pregnant and very disappointed in my cereal selection. I lost faith in proper Coco Pops a while ago as they weren't the sweet treat I was after, foolishly I thought I might be able to find a better alternative in the supermarkets but that has been a dead end too. Nesquick has been rubbish for years. Has anyone found a really delicious, really chocolatey cereal they can recommend?

Krave!

I would opt for a granola and then just chuck some nice chocolate in.

ShushImTalking · 09/02/2025 20:20

Morrisons do a chocolate chip granola, if that's any good. It is very chocolaty.

Weetos or the Nesquik chocolate ball things are my top holiday cereals.

Kit kat cereal!
Got some for my child to try but I tried it and it's really nice and I'm not really a cereal lover

Coco pops chocos! They’re made by Kelloggs and branded like coco pops but much more chocolatey and great chocolate milk. They’re basically the same as French chocapic if you ever had that while abroad!

Rude Health chocolate granola makes the best chocolate milk

Pumpkincarved · 09/02/2025 20:34

It won’t make chocolate milk but Kelloggs crunchy nut granola with chocolate can definitely fix a sweet craving (Christmas only cereal in this house as it’s basically just oats, sugar and chocolate) 🤤

Bumble2016 · 09/02/2025 20:36

Absolutely loving the fellow passion for decent chocolate cereal. I have some comments so far:

Krave: in my limited experience these are not as good as the Lidl chocolate hazelnut pillows though I am happy to give them another go.

Cereals with or adding chocolate chips: my fault for not mentioning already, but chocolate chips don't contribute to the chocolate milk do they? Appreciate they would definitely help the cereal itself though.

Lion / kit kat cereal: not yet tried will add to my list!

Coco pop chocos: dare I give the Coco pops brand another go??

I am absolutely addicted to Kelloggs Crunchy Nut Hazelnut and Chocolate Granola.
I kid myself there is an aura of health but it is hugely calorific and totally delicious. The dark chocolate chunks are very satisfying.
It makes me laugh that the pack says a portion is 45g. This would not fill a pixie. Even a small bowl is 100g but I’m past caring.

Bumble2016 · 09/02/2025 20:37

In my house cereal is mostly a dessert, so portion sizes are always ignored and we measure with our heart 😉

The gluten free choco krispies in Sainsbury's make delicious chocolate milk.

myhotwaterbottle · 09/02/2025 20:52

I have also been known to eat a bowl of Rice Krispies in literal chocolate milk

ThereIsATInWater · 09/02/2025 20:53

Why don't you use chocolate milkshake on your cereal instead of normal milk??

charabang · 09/02/2025 20:55

If you can be bothered to do the prep what about chocolate overnight oats, Oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, milk with a squeeze of honey and some cacao nibs to top off.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 09/02/2025 20:58

@ThereIsATInWater @myhotwaterbottle

Game Changer! Have never thought of it.

Or... or...

Now hear me out...

Chop 5 Kit Kats up into bits, put in a bowl, and pour milk on top

Tablespoon of Nutella swirled in porridge? Go wild and throw on some dark chocolate chunks too

Mittens67 · 09/02/2025 21:21

Ooh! Have just remembered a post on Very British Problems the other day.
Put five (or more) jaffa cakes in a bowl and add milk.
Looked fabulous.
