Do they actually measure centimetres or are they a different size?

I'm guessing it slots into some kind of kitchen or hobby gadget.

Years ago used to get something like that with doliprane in France, dosing guide. Now they dose the syringe.

It could be a portion measurer for some sort of cooking device (soup maker, rice cooker?) where it dips in so that 0 is some way up the stick just below the 2 and each increment is a portion

I looked in my kitchen and there's a coffee maker I inherited but have never used and its the same colour plastic so think it must be for measuring cups of coffee. Thanks everyone!
