Do you fall in the peak MN demographic?

Just reading the Amandaland thread, and @wipeywipe said
“I've said this before but I think the MNs demographic is a bit older. Agree Amandalland definitely targeting 40 somethings.”

Made me think about how old (or young!) MNs actually are.
I think the mean age will fall in the mid 40s to the mid 50s.

45 in September 👍🏻

I wonder if that’s always held true for MN or if there was a younger demographic at one time.

That's an interesting point @ineedteainthemorning

I think there was a younger demographic at the beginning. I joined when my son was young, he's all grown up now but I'm still here.

I'm 40, but been here quietly since I was 30/31 and TTC. I didn't feel particularly young then, so I wonder if it's changed or just that I don't hang out with the TTCers any more.

I have been on MN for 18 years so I joined when Ds2 was born and I was 32 looking for advice on breastfeeding. Now I am here for uni stuff and adult children.

Nearly 44. Been on here about 10 years. Whenever netmums discussion board collapsed.

Similar - 42 now and been here for about 10/11 years.

  1. Been here for years, since the DCs were early teens.

Definitely well over 60! Still young at heart and MN keeps me that way with all the latest in news, gossip, fashion, trends, controversies, advice, you name it.
