Name change

Hi all. I'm due to go back to work next week after maternity leave, I'm nervous but looking forward to getting back to normality.

I have received a couple of texts today from colleagues to let me know another colleague (who have met twice) has been slagging me off. She doesn't want me to come back etc..

I have reported this to my manager but he won't do a thing. Same woman calls younger staff members worms, I'm girl who has sticky out teeth gets called "teeth" but it's all done behind peoples back.

I'm already nervous as heck about going back and I need help with how to proceed please

Ignore ignore ignore
The place sounds toxic . Not just the horrible colleague but the shit stirring so called friends.
Id just message saying tbh I don't want to hear about toxic office stuff so don't tell me, I'm coming back in s fresh and positive headspace and not letting anyone or anything pull me down (and do that). Rise above it. As Michelle Obama says 'when they go low, you go high'. Good luck ❤️

Ignore her. So what if she doesn't want you to come back, tough titties it's not up to her. Just go in, do your job and don't get involved in gossip and shit stirring.

I would start looking for a different job. This kind of culture often comes from management and if your manager doesn't have your back then it's the wild west.
