Dd moved into her new flat yesterday. Removals were meant to be at her old place between 12-2pm they delayed and arrived at 6pm . Which was a massive mess up . Anyway all get stuff is in the new place now.
The flat is lovely its a new build social housing and dd is the first to live there . The only negative thing is it's smaller than her old place . It says it has 2 double bedrooms but its not . Its a single and double . Can't do anything now though just have to make the most of it.
Its only a 10 min or so walk to the school which is fantastic. It means no more buses for DD/GS. It means I don't need to pick him up from school. It means I can do my own school run with my 2 youngest and we can just be on our own and it will be much less stressful. The thought of it feels nice .
She just has to go back to her old flat and clear /cleam ot best she can . Then she can leave that flat it tje past and start her new chapter.
Also Dd messaged me telling me she's cant find the bolts for her bed. She just messaged me saying she found them and to guess where they were so jokingly I said the fridge . And she tells me they were in the freezer.
Probably a boring post. But I feel a bit excited for DD and for myself for a peaceful school run. 😁
