How can I make this mirror more appealing?

Hopefully this link works as I know we can't currently add photos, so I've had to lift this from Zoopla!

We have this mirror in our en suite. It's pretty big. Coupled with the quite bright lighting in the room, it's like being in a Travelodge. I don't know if I need to paint the room to reduce the white glare a bit or what, but I just want to stop being confronted by such a huge expanse of mirror -the loo and the sink mean you can't even get close to it for essentials like eyebrow tweezing/spot poking so it's largely redundant -we have mirrored wardrobe doors which are used for hair drying/make up checking etc.

I'd rather not try and get it off the wall, replaster and redecorate as I'm sure it's held on with no more nails which will probably fuck the wall up.

Has anybody had any luck with stick on edging, cling decals or similar? My search so far has brought up some options that are mostly a bit blingy for my taste -there's a lot of diamante or disco ball type edging, fake woodgrain out there! Ideally I'd like something inoffensive like a sort of semi opaque floral or geometric border that can be stuck on and peeled off but I don't know if such a thing exists. The aim is just to reduce the visual field a bit (quite a bit!)

Thanks in advance -link below.

What about stick on tiles around the edge to create a border? There are ones you can stick onto tiles to change the look

edit after a quick google. Would these be too big?

Draw a funny moustache on the mirror 🪞

Every time you use it,you will have a little giggle

And life will always seem like an adventure 💖

Oh I like those! I'll have to do some measuring. For some reason Dunelm didn't occur to me. Off to do more googling! Thank you x

The thing you're looking for certainly does exist. It's window film. You can get it in all sorts of patterns or create your own with plain film and a sharp craft knife. This is one of the main brands. https://www.purlfrost.com/window-film/?gadsource=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAnpy9BhAkEiwA-P8N4pjsUHxKRrrghhRbsQZYX4uz9QQSIDdzrmoNkSIRkleqyFdljcfkIxoC6QkQAvDD_BwE.
