DD is off to a concert there soon and has got it into her head she needs a clear bag - is that right? Can't see anything on the website. Thx

Wembley is very strict on bags - small bag only!

Ladyandherspaniel · 06/02/2025 22:23

It doesn’t have to be see through but it needs to be small .

Bringonchristmas36 · 06/02/2025 22:24

Yes small, smaller than a school 🎒

According to their website they allow nothing bigger than A4 size, they don’t have to be clear.
I took one which was 20cm x 28cm to the FA Cup Final last year and had no problems.

Clear bag sounds like she's getting confused with airport security. Haven't been anywhere that requires a clear bag.

There was a period when security was tightened a lot at venues - I think after the Manchester bombing - and you could only take some clear bags in some places. But I think that wasn't sustainable and so they let people bring their own/non-clear bags in.

Basically take a very small hand bag! Doesnt need to be clear. They won’t allow back packs.

I went to see Taylor Swift in August, you can take a bag smaller than A4 and it doesn't need to be see through.

You walk through a metal detector when you go in and they do a quick bag search.

Brilliant, thanks all!
