A family member in Oz is very sadly nearing end of life. Relatives here in the UK are preparing to fly out.
The question has come up today of what the lead time is like for funerals after a person passes. No post mortem etc. is expected. I don’t mean this to sound cold but obviously it’s to help with how long the UK family may need to plan to be away.
Nobody wants to ask the family member’s partner as they’re not in a good way themselves, understandably, so I turn to trusty MN. Family are in Queensland, if that makes any difference.
