Please could anyone help me. I am a single mum who works full time and is able to claim childcare cost through UC. Back in October half term I received a leaflet from the school advertising a Christmas holiday club. As the school holiday club I usually use is closed over Christmas I had a look and booked my two DD's in for the four days I was working over the Christmas period. I lent this money and promised to pay back once this was reimbursed from UC. I sent off all relevant information and proof of payment and UC site stated this will be paid in the period the childcare falls into.
January's payment doesn't arrive and I checked my entitlement and it was nil due to no childcare being stated. I have spent the past few weeks chasing this to then be told as it was paid more than 2 periods in advance this can't be reimbursed as it was paid too early. (It looks like from payment to the childcare this was three periods) Has anyone ever come across this. I'm really struggling to be able to pay this back now.
