So I went to renew my passport (UK), and decided to change my name on it as I got married a few years ago and don't actually have an ID in my married name. Turns out l've misplaced my marriage certificate so I have had to order a new one as I need it to send off with my old passport.
My question is does anyone know how long does it take for certificates without a GRO index number to be delivered, it states 15 working days on the website but I know that's not always correct so just want to see if anyone else has ordered one recently and what was the waiting times.
Also is there a time frame for how long you have to send the documents off to the passport office?
looking to go away in July with my children so trying to figure it all out and I’m also very impatient.
