Just read an article in the Guardian about chief auditor looking to 'learn' from Musks 'Doge' as a way to improve the NHS.
Not feeling confident about that!
Has anyone else heard anything about this?

" I think NHS demand is outstripping the capacity of the country to fund it in the current way, the special education needs budget has now been doubled, without a doubling of anything like the quality of outcomes".

I mean, at the moment Elon Musk is simply raiding internal systems and deleting or extracting data, by the looks of it, some of it (Justice department employee personal data) to seek retaliation for political reasons. He hasn’t actually done anything to promote efficiency or cost savings. He certainly has no tangible skills in government. A government is not a corporation. Particularly given the US doesn’t even have a national health service, I don’t think there’s much to learn from. I say this as an American (dual national) with a PhD in a health field.

I'm aware that the Guardian like scaremongering, but I suppose I do have a concern about the future of NHS funding regarding the UK and USA. Why we have to look to that model or have anything to do with it when there are countless other successful models all around us is worrying.
