Reaching my limit.
Teacher in demanding school, recent widow, recently lost mother and father in law, brother dying from v similar cancer to husband, recently dealt with own cancer.
Need to be there for family for impending death, reasonable to go off sick?

Yes. We are all replaceable at work. Put yourself first.

I'm so sorry to hear about everything you have been through lately. It must be an extremely hard time for you. Take care and definitely take time to be your family.
