Frustrated with myself

This is going to sound so silly . But im pissed of and frustrated with myself. My kids school is quite away from my home it takes around an hour by public transport. The thing is I'm absolutely sick and tired of the constant germs on the buses. I'm always ill and its making me struggle.

Anyway if I was to bike it would take me 20-30 mins . The thing is I have no road sense . Which is also why I can't drive . I would probably cause an accident within 5 minutes. Most people have road sense don't they. Then there's me . Anything beyond crossing roads is a no .

You could take cycling lessons. My local council used to offer them for free.

They don't teach you how to ride a bike, they teach you how to ride a bike safely on the road.

How do you mean no road sense, as in you'll cycle all over the road, not stop at traffic lights kind of thing? Are you ND OP? Would practice help?

Sort of . When I was meaning to drive i could drive the car . But I just had no general road sense. Like I won't know the partner of traffic lights. Or the meaning of road signs or marking on the road. And the road lanes like I would not know where I should be. Or where the other road users should be . Or where they are intending to go. I'm not ND but do have learning difficulties. Which is probably linked to why I can't take it in . Regarding still piasee of with myself.

But driving lessons teach you all that. It takes a while to learn road sign, what lane you should be in, all of that.

The bus is not why your getting sick, is prob why your not catching more.

I think this is a mindset issue. If you go into it thinking you can't do it, you won't. You need to channel a more positive approach.
