Hello all!

How would you explain to a child the difference between opinion and belief? Is there actually a difference? If so, what is it?

I'm getting into a muddle trying to explain and the more I add, I seem to be contradicting myself!

Opinion - you like a particular thing such as a particular tv programme, and other people disagree with you because they don't like it. You each have your own opinion.

Belief - you think something is either true or false, such as whether fairies exist or not. You believe that fairies exist, other people don't.
