Accommodation with wet room in Edinburgh

I wonder if anyone can help me with finding a hotel near to Waverly Station in Edinburgh which has suitable rooms for a wheelchair user. We need a twin room with a wet room and support rails for the toilet. So far all I can find under accessible rooms are lowered baths or walk in showers with no seat. It is for 2 nights in March. Any advice or ideas welcomed. Thank you

Hi op

Apologies but I was logged in to chatGPT working today when I saw your post so have just asked and have a few option worth exploring.

The Balmoral Hotel – It's very close to Waverley Station and is known for having accessible rooms with wet rooms. While they have various levels of accessibility, they often offer rooms equipped with necessary support like rails and larger bathrooms for wheelchair users. It might be worth contacting them directly to confirm the exact features of the room.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Edinburgh – Situated right near the Royal Mile and close to Waverley Station, Radisson Blu has a reputation for good accessibility options. They offer rooms with wet rooms and some equipped with the necessary support rails. Again, it’s best to call ahead to confirm that they meet all of your specific needs.
Holiday Inn Edinburgh – Though a bit further from Waverley Station, they do have accessible rooms with wet rooms and toilet rails. If you don't mind a slightly longer walk, this could be a good option. Double-check the details of the room with them when booking.
Apex Waterloo Place Hotel – Another hotel close to the station that often caters to accessibility needs. Their accessible rooms generally include a walk-in shower or wet room, but you should clarify whether they include the necessary rails and support in the bathroom.

Hilton Edinburgh Carlton seems to have fully accessible rooms including shower room.

Not near Waverley but Premier Inn at Edinburgh park has accessible rooms. It is right by the train and tram so can use either to quickly get to the city centre.

My apologies for not responding for all the very helpful answers sooner. It's been a bit hectic as damaged my own knee along with sorting a house inspection, along with chasing medication, support groups etc for my husband. The pointer to Euan's guide is going to be very useful. Thank you all again.
