What do I need from IKEA?

I’m doing an order of IKEA items and trying to think of what little but useful bits I might need to stock up on. Any ideas? What do you recommend from there?

Their boxes of ziplock bags. They are soooo useful for so many things and last forever.

Have you got the app?

I want the silicone saucepan lids that fit any pan.
Clips for bags? Though I prefer clothes pegs. An octopus dryer?
scissors
those fabric cubes for storage, the drawer organiser ones and the big ones. They are in gorgeous muted petrol blues at the moment.

Pruta tuppaware for £4. These are bloody fantastic. Small ones great for snacks, big flat ones for lunches or meals, the bigger tall ones hold SO much. Tight lids and they don't stain, even when freezing spag bol.

Well surely you know what you need?

What's the point in buying random stuff if you don't actually need it?

Onyoupop · 02/02/2025 08:28

I came on to say the ziplock bags but everyone's beaten me to it 😂 I always leave with at least 5 boxes!

Because IKEA.

But also if things are recommended like the bags, you might get those instead of the usual ones you were due to buy anyway.

I've suddenly got an urgent to go to IKEA and get ziplock bags 😂

GrumpyPanda · 02/02/2025 08:35

If you don't have a mortar and pestle but could use one they've got a really nice set for very little money compared to everywhere else.

justinhawkinsnavalfluff · 02/02/2025 08:42
