Mixed peppercorns

Before I go and buy green, pink and white peppercorns for my peppermill (I already have black), is there any advantage in terms of fragrance and flavour? Obviously they look attractive in a clear peppermill but mine is solid wood! Are they worth the extra brass? Thankyou.

They pink ones are slightly fruitier. I have rather wankily a pink grinder and a black grinder. Wouldn't bother mixing them tbh.

I just buy Rainbow peppercorns, I have no explanation as to why.

I also only buy pink himalayan salt, probably because it's pink!

Pink peppercorns are really nice, I use them in baking

Thankyou all. I still have to correctly reassemble my peppermill, having dismantled it for a good clean.

Mixed peppercorns are a good mix of heat and flavour. I use them for most seasoning but also have pre ground black pepper for adding larger amounts of recipes
