Hello I’m worried about my accounts. I was sent an email and opened it as I was actually expecting something from that person.

Turns out they had been hacked . I have made my email 2 factor authentication now is that enough or do I need to do anything else ? I’m a bit confused and not really sure what else I need to do ?

Did you click on any links in the email or just open it?

If you didn't click anything, I think it's fine.

I did and it took me to a Microsoft login but I don’t have a Microsoft account so it didn’t do anything but I’m not sure if it will have still done something ? I don’t know how to check and I m just not sure what to do

I’m usually so careful but I’d literally spoken to the person the day before and was waiting for a document from them. I don’t know if I need to change all my passwords on everything or if I’ve done enough enabling the 2 factor authentication? How do I check it’s still just one device using my email account

It sounds to me like it probably was a fake Microsoft login page hoping to get your details
Since you didn't enter anything, you'll be fine.
