Im in my late 40s and noticing some changes. Lots more aches and pains that I think are menopause related. Currently dealing with frozen shoulder. I also have PCOS.
And some definite changes with my body and sex
Any good websites or books to recommend please?
I not in the Uk so won’t be using the NHS.
Im wary about HRT because I tried progesterone a few years ago for the PCOS and it made me very anxious. I had to stop.
I also understand that taking HRT when still having periods means I’ll have periods until I’m older. But I’m not sure how true this is.
So would love some recommendations

Most people take HRT while having periods, it doesn’t make them last longer.
With the progesterone, you’d be taking oestrogen too so it should balance it, but consider a mirena coil as the dose is much lower.
For aches and pains I’d try a good quality omega 3.
For sleep problems magnesium glycinate at night.
For energy vitamin B complex.
And vitamin D3 with K2 for bones.
Careful where you get your advice as often they are trying to sell you something.

Thank you @DustyLee123 I can’t use any forms of contraception. I’ll add that to my post!
