Paris restaurant recommendations?

Taking the DCs (14 and 12) to Paris in the holidays for the first time. Any recommendations for where to eat? We love food and French food is a fave, so looking for bistro style, plat du jour type places which aren’t tourist traps if possible. I’ve not been to Paris for more than 20 years and can’t remember where I used to eat! Would love recommendations please if anyone has any!

I always recommend Chartier Bouillon. Great fun, good food and v reasonable. The one in the 9th is the best near grand boulevards is the best.

Le bleu train is beautiful but more pricey.
