Which Household Gadgets Do You Particularly Love & Which Are You Not So Keen On?

I love my washing machine. It plays music when it’s finished & there are some really useful programmes like a drum clean. Can’t be doing with my American style fridge freezer though. I’d never have one again. It’s massive but just doesn’t seem to have space inside. You can’t put much in the top freezer drawer because of the water dispenser & the freezer area generally is pretty small.

My electric hand mixer, must be at least 40 years old and still going strong, originally my Grandma's.

I think i have the same musical washing machine, it's very jolly!

I love my stick blender - it has a few attachments to blend, whip or crush ice, so handy.

I've got one of those and it's brilliant for a couple of old disabled codgers plus my kitchen isn't big! I throw the discharged fluids down the loo & it helps keep limescale away. ATM we pour 3 jugs of water in to it but will get it plumbed to mains soon. Couldn't believe how great it is tbh as I was rather suspicious of them. I've got it on a stainless steel catering table and our push boy bin can fit under it.
Most useless object is an electric veg chopper that jams if the chunks are too large + is a faff to clean, however the dishwasher might remedy the washing of this.

Dumb question but how does it make a difference to the warmth of the house?
