As I can't visualise images (no mind's eye) I can't picture the places I've been to or all the people I have ever met. All of my memories are attached to food( or the occasional smell) - beautiful cities and places remembered only by meals that I ate there: Prague - an amazing Italian meal, Budapest - smoked duck risotto, Hanoi - Pho, Greek boat trip - lamp chops, Sri Lanka - a vanilla milkshake. Turkey - a snack at a service station. Ditto France. No recollection of Rome so can't have eaten anything that impressed! Same for family events and weddings - chocolate cake, toffee profiteroles, can provide detail of the meal but not who got married and what they wore! No surprise I married a chef! What evokes memories for you, or where did you eat something really memorable? I'll plan my next trip around it! I can't visualise the future but maybe if I think of it in potential meals...
