Anyone designed their own logo before ? Anything you wished you’d known, were you happy with it ?

Anything you’d do differently ?

I'm doing my first ever logo

Canva is good for basic logos.

Did you stick to a certain colour scheme for your brand etc

To be honest I have a basic logo and still have to decide on the brand colours.

Canvas have templates that you can use or you can make your own.

Also try peopleperhour. They design it for you and are very cheap. It's fun if you just need ideas. The designers are from all over the world. Start at £15 per design.

Make sure it's 'scalable' (works at different sizes)!

Yes I have a tendency to try and make these things too detailed rather than short and punchy

Would you use a template or do it from scratch
