Help me choose between these chairs

Dining chairs. Which do you prefer? I’ve sat on the Furnitire Village ones and they’re firm but comfortable. They take up more space though. Haven’t seen the Cult ones in person but they have good reviews. Slimmer fit round the table. Thanks!

Biggest difference in terms of
functionality is that the first ones have arms.
How important are the arms to you?
Our dining chairs don't have arms and I can't say I've ever thought that they should or that they would be better if they had.
So if that's not an issue I'd buy the 2nd ones- I think they are more elegant and as you say they take up less space. And a bit cheaper, too.

I like arms so first one

I like the Cult ones. I do like arms on a dining chair if there is space, but in this case, the Cult chairs look more elegant.

TwoBlueFish · 30/01/2025 13:22

I prefer the second ones without the arma

YogaLite · 30/01/2025 13:22

2 of the ones with arms as carvers and 4 of the same design (further down the page) without (assuming u are getting six).

TeeBee · 30/01/2025 13:25

Do the ones with arms sit beneath your table, or will they forever stick out? In which case, I'd get the one's without arms...or two with arms for each end and the rest without (only if you have the space. They're both nice though.

LemonBossy · 30/01/2025 13:27

In terms of appearance only, I love the second ones.

menopausalfart · 30/01/2025 13:33

The Cult ones look more stylish. I prefer no armrests around a dining table.

Starlight1984 · 30/01/2025 13:47

Cult ones definitely.

NoMoreFalafelForYou · 30/01/2025 14:18

Thanks you for your comments. They’ve confirmed my inkling that the Cult ones are the way to go.

Heyy, I know it is an old post, but I'm in a search for chairs too and wondered how do you feel the metal base compared to wooden one? Did you buy them at the ens?
No one has mentioned that and this is the only reason I'm hesitant.
How is the walnut stain looking like on metal? Is it okay ?

Thanks
