Vinted or eBay?.

I am trying to declutter and sort out my life a bit!
Have lots of mainly kids clothes that I have to move on
Some of mine that are new with labels but bought in a flurry of not- sensible shopping in the pandemic!
Thought I'd try selling once before moving stuff I can't sell onto a local clothing drive

Wonder which is best for selling clothes - is it all Vinted now?
Do people even bother to look at eBay for clothes? I assume eBay is still where to go for toys etc though don't have much of those

Haven't done much of this in years so appreciate any direction or advice!

Do both, and if it sells on one, then end the listing on the other. I did this, plus local Facebook sites and sold about a third of the stuff on each.

Thanks so much @Snowmanscarf
I'll do this!
I had thought what a faff to put on one site and then do the whole thing again if it doesn't sell
Great idea, thank you

I agree with do both - that is what I do. I also do Facebook and Nextdoor. I'm contemplating Sphock too

You just have to remember to remove from the other if you sell it.

It's actually easy to just duplicate the adverts across. Copy and paste and you already have the photos from the first listing anyway

Thanks - gosh so I've not heard of a couple of those- Nextdoor and Sphock!

I must try copying the adverts

I just don't think of these things!

Nextdoor is more like a local selling thing (like facebook) - its a local community page with a selling section

Sphock was around before vinted but hasnt really taken off. I have sold a few things on there tho so work the copy and paste across when you have time.

I used to use Sphock as well, but couldn’t remember its name when I posted above. Maybe it’s name was it’s unpopularity - difficult to spell and remember!

I'm going to have a go at nextdoor for large items ( like big plastic toys!)
And will double up on eBay and vinting the rest, simultaneously!

Edited

It's definitely not a catchy name!! But I'll have a look at it and try pasting the ads

It's great to declutter, not have things go to landfill, and hopefully make a few quid at the same time!
