Dipstick test infection?

Hi I’ve taken a dipstick test ( I’ll ring dr tomorrow but before I do just want to know if these are reliable or rubbish ?) I’ve been feeling awful the last few weeks , exhausted, stomach like I have the stomach flu but no actual diarrhoea just that feeling like hot on and off tossing and turning all night and feeling yuk . Does this look like an infection or are these just nonsense? Don’t want the gp to think I’m dramatic. I got these when I was pregnant years ago btw so had some spare

If you’ve had them a few years are they still in date? They do expire and won’t be accurate if they have.

All I can make out is leukocytes, which can just be contamination if not a totally clean capture, a a small amount of protein which can be caused if you are dehydrated. I can’t see what the middle-ish squares are supposed to indicate as you’ve covered up the relevant info and it’s also all a bit blurred. Is it blood? If so, are you on your period?

if Nitrates have come up then that’s a sure sign of UTI. Pharmacists can prescribe for uti in some pharmacies now if you can’t speak to a Dr.

It's hard to see from the photo because the text isn't clear, but looks positive for leucocytes and protein and a bit of blood too. Normally in a good going uti you'd have nitrates too, but if the tests are old they could be expired and not as accurate. Definitely worth seeing the gp, or some pharmacies will also dip a urine and give antibiotics if needed if its just a simple uti. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks both ! Yeah I didn’t even think about the date on them 😂 actually it was almost two years ago I got them . I’ve done a few tests on different days and they have just gotten stronger . Only today the blood has shown up . No I’m not due on period as I’m actually pregnant BUT the pregnancy is empty and I’m waiting to go into hospital to have medical management but I guess there’s a chance I’m bleeding and havnt noticed it yet as I’m 8 weeks now and I can lose the pregnancy anytime , well as soon as my body realises that is !
