Nursery funding question

Hiya

My baby is starting nursery in April (he will be 10.5 months, born in May 24). I thought he would get 15 hours funded from April to August, then 30 hours funded from September 25 with the further expansion.

The nursery have just said from September 25 it's for 2 year old onwards for the 30 hours. Is that right as I'm not sure based on what I've read?

It'd be 15 hours from Easter and 30 from September.

However, people find it tricky to get the application process done in time when returning to work, as you can only apply a month before but providers need your code earlier, so check that with them.

That's what I thought. I've already started his application for the hours from April, it just threw me off when they said it will only be 15 hours until he turns 2, as I thought I read about the 30 hours from September 25.
