Hair loss/thinning

Anybody found a product to help with hair loss and thinning please? My hair is receding around my temples and forehead. I also have an area on the back right side of my head which is so thin that the scalp can be clearly seen.

You need to have a blood test to check your hormone levels, ferritin, thyroid function and vitamin D. All these can cause hair loss. Also if you have been ill you can lose hair a couple of months later.
I hope this helps

Sorry forgot to add that my hair is also thinning at the top of my head and that it’s very depressing.

It could be telegen effluvium

Just to add I have had this a couple of times and my hair always grows back when you correct the cause. Mine was thyroid disease

I would really see your GP.

I've got frontal fibrosing alopecia - known as male pattern baldness. It started with a receeding hair line. It's important to get diagnosed early with this problem as then there is more chance of treatment working to prevent further hair loss.

I'm not saying that's what you have by any means, and sincerely hope not. There are many other causes of hair loss and thinning. But I really think you are best to get medical advice to identify the cause of your problem.

I’m disabled and needing some help in the home. What is the hourly rate for cleaning these days please?

I've got lichen planus. Topical steroids are supposed to help but by the time I have noticed it's on the march again it's too late. My hairline is motheaten and receding and thinning generally.

Perfectil has definitely improved my thinning hair.
