I'm having a day 😅

My fridge randomly stopped working yesterday. The inside of the fridge just expanded, it's hard to explain but inside looked like it was pregnant

It was still working but I foolishly moved it to have a look, and when moving it back, the electrics tripped and the whole thing seems to have gone.

Now I have to replace. On the same month I'm meant to fingers crossed be doing carpets

The heating turned on when i turned the electrics back on and now won't turn off

So I'm hot, broke, hungry as I'm on a diet, and now dd won't sleep

Sorry, just having a whinge 😄😭

Edit - dd has autism so the non sleep thing is common tbh but she must be exhausted having been up since 8 and doing a full day at school

Sorry things are shit right now. Have you managed to get the heating off or is it just baking you? Maybe someone will have suggestions for that if you mention what sort of heating it is.

Have you tried turning the heating temperature down on the boiler controls?

Although I imagine after the day you’ve had you’re wary of touching anything ever again

Oh gosh I'm sorry OP, did being very warm help you not feel hungry? I find the cold makes me extra hungry

The heating is gas central heating? But somehow the electrics tripping make it turn on, it's happened before

Im a council tenant so will call them after the school run, so it should be okay

Thankfully, and i say this so tentatively, the food in the freezer hasn't defrosted yet. Not sure if it just takes a while or if the freezer is still working. I had filled the freezer on payday so fingers crossed it can last until next oayday and we're just sans fridge, which is survivable

Also, I'm not so sure, I hate being warm so was just miserable. I gave in and had one of these egg and cottage cheese things I baked in cupcake tins - zero carbs and good for an emergency craving situation

My heating did the same — I have a separate control for it, like a handset. Something in that had gone wrong and had to have it replaced.

Omg even the slightest bit of heat and I start to fall apart as a person 😄😄

I love the winter months, not really looking forward to the summer

This is wild, do you like being cold? Or just do not like being warm? Some sort of neutral temp maybe?

Good job the council can sort the heating. My fridge freezer died a while ago. Stuff in the freezer stayed frozen for a day or two, much longer than you might think.
