advice re falling with baby

So, my DSS phoned me to say he had fallen down the stairs holding his 16 week old, asking if they needed to go to A&E. It sounds like he slipped and went down forwards about 2 steps and landed on his bum holding baby snugly and upright. No bump, no head snap.
I feel really anxious that they've asked me for advice as I cant handle the responsibility and concern of telling them the wrong thing.
So, what would you have said - trip to A&E or keep an eye on baby to see if he seems distressed/sick or has any other concerning signs?

Tell them to phone 111 and get advice on what to do. I don’t think anyone here should give medical advice for a 6 week old.

I would reassure DSS that everything is probably fine, and that he's not at fault or anything. Then I would encourage him to phone 111 for advice, and tell him that it's good practice to get used to it as he's probably going to be using that number a fair bit in future!

Most likely fine but call 111 for advice. So good he could turn to you for advice. I hope his partner is a good person and (not one of those nasty women who would blame him for what was clearly an accident).
