Best flooring for person using mobility aids?

My FIL uses a mobility aid trolley issued by the NHS to get around his flat. The existing laminate floors need replacing. What would be the best non slip floor covering to get for someone using a wheeled walking aid?

Look at Altro flooring for bathrooms and then google vinyl non-slip flooring for the rest of the flat. You can get really nice wood effect and if you choose a cushioned one it should be pretty warm underfoot.

I have Tapi's Grande vinyl it's great, comes in all sorts of designs and nothing like lino of yesteryear. Soft and warm underfoot if you pick a thick one, washable so can be broomed / carpet sweepered/ mopped which is easier than using a heavy hoover if the individual still wants to attempt home care, my Grandmother was a nightmare for attempting housework when she really couldn't anymore

Only downside is heavy furniture can dent it or if you drop something very hot (iron), very sharp but that's not so different to laminate and carpet anyway

Thank you so much both for your suggestions. Both of your posts are very informative and much appreciated.
