Just watched a true crime programme which basically was about a family who after the crime happened everyone said oh they seemed the perfect family, they were always willing to support village events/charities, she was a good friend to me and I knew everything about her.
well the truth was the family was father mother four children including one who had life long problems meaning that they would never be able to live dependently, but everyone said that they had embraced and coped with that.
it seemed the father far from having successful business' he was on the verge of bankruptcy, all the firms he started were totally failed. he was about to have the bank take back the house car etc and no one else knew. Also he was a regular visitor to sex workers.
his wife had affairs right left and center plus was quite fond of drink.
as it turned out the husband would not get help so he killed the children his wife then himself leaving his sister to sort out all the mess he left behind.
so it is true we do not know people. our neighbours we think are a happy couple but are they?
have you ever known a so called good couple who turned out to be living a total lie?
on another side i know a couple who seemed to be the best couple very devoted to each other the church etc but he had been living another life with another woman for years.
