Vinted refund / return one!

I bought top & trousers set from vinted for my son. The seller stated 9-10 years in the title and description however its arrived and the item is tiny on the labels it states 5-6. I've contacted the seller and requested a refund - the sellers asked to come and collect the set from my home. This was two days ago, the seller has read my message back but no reply or no refund. Will I still receive a refund if the seller collects (I'll have no proof I sent it back?) And how long do I wait for the seller to get back in touch?

I've only completed one refund on vinted when the seller sent the wrong item and didn't want the incorrect item back so this is new to me!

OP, you should have done this via Vinted. Never let a seller come to your house. See if you can still report it via Vinted. You’ll be able to put the item in a locker and if the seller doesn’t pick it up you’ll still get a refund.

Sorry, should have also said you only get 2 days to report. If the seller hasn’t turned up, contact the support team. If it goes longer than 2 days before you report an issue, then the funds are released to the seller

Never do anything outside of Vinted

Thank you I pressed I have an issue when it arrived and thats when the seller contacted me to ask if they could come to my house and collect. I messaged back asking if I agreed how would the refund work as I'd have no proof? But I've not had a reply (the seller has read my message two days ago).

Can I request an Inlocker post pick up? If the seller doesn't reply back can I still get my money back? Wouldn't mind so much but it was £15 before postage!

Decline the picking up -absolutely not
Ask for a returns label and if it isn't forthcoming contact Vinted again

If they collect from you
A. It's dodgy
B. They can deny you gave them the item

Go through Vinted, you’ll have to pay postage, tho, plus take random pics as Vinted requires.
