DS has sent the wrong parcel to each person - how are we meant to sort this out on different platforms! I've googled but can't find anything - does anyone please have any advice?

Contact each buyer and ask if they would either not accept delivery so it is returned to you.

Or if they will send it back to you if you pay the postage.

Also, you could see if they mind sending on to the correct buyer if you provide the postage - you will have to ask each of the buyers if they mind you doing this.

You have to rely on the recipients being honest, and the chance might be that they accept the parcel and keep the item.

Where did he send them from ? If it was an inpost locker, you could try going to the locker, phoning the number, and see if they will open the locker so you can swap the parcels over.

Thanks for the advice - the buyers have already received the (wrong!) items so I've said he should ask them to send to each other and he'll pay the postage. Fingers crossed they actually do!

Are they both happy to have their details passed on to another person? Check that first.

This is a minefield. You are sending personal details and hoping that they both send the correct items back and don’t lie about receiving the correct item, hoping that neither of them legitimately get lost or damaged in the post (in which case who would claim for damages? He couldn’t because he wouldn’t be the sender).

He needs to have the items returned to him and reposted or write them both off and fully refund.
