I volunteer at a community centre for the retired.
Most people attending are over 75.
Yesterday we had a meeting to see if we can attract new members.
One of the men 85 maybe older. Gave a funny comment let's have
a stripper. He wasn't serious just a jokey comment.

Then she changed the subject.

Old people often lose their filter. Sometimes it's dementia. It can be embarrassing and hard to deal with.

Not long ago I had to take my elderly 90 year old aunt into hospital. They wanted to keep her in overnight but she really didn't want to be there. She told me that she was going to say to the Dr. that she had to go home as she was getting married tomorrow.
