This is probably such a simple yes answer (I am hoping) but our large bathroom window has leaked when raining since moving in our house recently. It doesn't happen all the time it's raining so must be when the rain is driving against the window. Massive puddle this morning on our window sill.

The bottom seal which sits against the window frame when the window is shut is sopping wet - none of the others are - is it likely to be a case of just needing a new seal ?!

Could really do without needing a whole new window as it's huge

New seal or new hinges, so it closes flush again, or blocked drainage. it doesn’t necessarily need a whole new window if it’s just the opening that’s the issue.
I know screwfix sell new hinges, probably seals as well.

The seal can fail. Look on YouTube about replacing them. There are different sorts.
