Flu and Covid vaccines

Has anyone had their flu and/or Covid booster vaccines?

I had my flu vaccine through my GP surgery in October, but I was surprised to find out that they weren’t issuing the Covid booster vaccines too.

Then this month, I received a text message saying that my local hospital were issuing Covid boosters and I could walk in to have mine throughout January, without an appointment.

I’m happy indeed, and had my Covid booster done today.

I have not had any this year, I had both on the same day last year and felt really odd and weird for a few weeks, dunno why

I am in at risk group too but I think the flu one would have been pointless as they seem to have misjudged the strains this time and it is not working so good

I had mine in October, no issues. I am waiting for a heart transplant so vaccines are part of the criteria for going on the list. I also had to have pneumonia, hepB and Mmr.

My very elderly parents had theirs last November, one in each arm at the same time. Right as rain. My DH (has cancer) had his flu jab, but is refusing any further COVID vaccinations as they make him so ill (much more ill than the three times he's had COVID). I wish he would though, as presumably it's primed for the most prevalent strain each year.
