21st birthday gift ideas

It's my niece's 21st birthday in a few weeks. We don't really do gifts as a family now but I'm thinking of giving her something small with a card - m gift voucher, some nice chocolates or a cake, something else? I'm only thinking of spending around £20 if I can come up with something.

Following as I'm going to a 21st next week and I have never met the woman.

I was looking at the personalised pens on Etsy but I'm a nerd and maybe other people would think a pen is boring!

Actually I think a pen is a good idea. I think I'll get one for the woman I mentioned.
