Eyelids with elephant looking skin!

That’s the best way I can describe it 🤷‍♀️. What’s happening to my eyelids? This is with foundation etc removed so the skin tone is strange but why are theywrinkly, scaly and horrible looking? It’s the same on both eyes and has been coming and going but now it’s been like it for a couple of weeks. I have tried various creams and emollients but it doesn’t seem to help. No changes in any skin care routines or make up. Thank you.

Have you tried washing and moisturising with double base moisturiser? Could it be hormone / menopause related? My skin and eyes got terrible once I hit peri menopause and only double base worked. I started getting chalazions on my eyes too because of the dry skin.

I literally had this for about a month until 2 weeks ago, one eye was particularly black ringed and looked like I'd been punched. I equally hadn't changed my routine. It finally got so bad I went to the GP and they gave me a cream for eczema and it cleared it up within 3 days - it was a miracle cure!

I had this, I used Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream and it cleared right up.
