How does everyone cope with heavy smartphones?

Recently bought a new phone. It's been a while since I've had to get a new one so I was surprised to find out that most of the top end ones were seriously heavy (at least 200g). I ended up going for an iPhone 16 even though I really wanted the better camera on the IPhone 16 Pro, just because it was lighter. I think anything heavier/bigger would give me hand pain. How does everyone cope with heavier phones these days? Do you all use phone stands at home? What about when you're out?

Nope, I agree with you both. Latest iPhones are so heavy and huge. Too much. I got a new one and hated it. So ‘downgraded’ to an SE. So much more usable!!

Yeah, it's weird that heavier phones are considered more premium.

I 100% agree and it feels like another sign of the patriarchy; phones are made for big male hands.

Yet another example of design by men for men - who not only have bigger hands but decent-sized pockets.

I’m not convinced. Apple used to make mini versions of iPhones. They didn’t sell.

Yes, I had a mini one a few years ago. Hated it, it was fiddly and felt flimsy. My daughter has it now and says it’s too small.

I always choose the best smallest phone. I hate a big phone!
